Press Accreditation at the Lord Mayor’s Show

There will be two main press points and to gain access, photographers and TV crews must apply in advance for accreditation. Email bids to Emma Hutchings or fax a copy of this form to 020 7332 1987.

  1. Mansion House to watch the procession pass
    10.50am-2.30pm (stand).
  1. St Paul’s Cathedral for procession and Lord Mayor being blessed on entrance steps
    12.15pm (raised platform).

There will be an additional option of a point in the Guildhall Yard to photograph the new Lord Mayor getting into his gold coach (10.15-10.45am). Please advise in advance if you wish to have a photographer/TV crew in the Yard.

Photographers/reporters/TV crews are welcome to mingle with the crowds but there will be no access to the route itself during the procession. Anyone on the route who is unaccompanied by a City of London representative will be removed by Police.

The Press Association will have a photographer on the route. Contact PA picture desk on 020 7963 7000 for further information.

The deadline for accreditation requests will be 12pm on Wednesday 7th November. Bids will be confirmed on Thursday 8th of November and official City of London Press packs and passes must be collected from the Guildhall on Friday 9th November 10am – 4pm. CoL-issued Press passes must be shown to gain access to the three press points above. Only one photographer per organisation unless previously agreed. Please submit bid with photographer’s name and a contact tel no.
